General Admission

General admission tickets give you entry to the venue on a first-come, first-served basis (for example, tickets to the Guelcher Film Series).

Reserved Seating

Seating at many performances in the Mary D’Angelo Performing Arts Center is on a reserved basis: this is, your ticket is for a seat of your choice in the theater. See some of the views you can expect.

There are three locations for seating:

Orchestra - the section closest to the stage (400 seats maximum)

Rear Orchestra - the section immediately behind the orchestra section (200 seats maximum)

Balcony - the upper level seating, 22 steps up, no elevator (200 seats maximum)

Accessibility

There are designated wheelchair seats in the Orchestra section, and specially modifed seating for the disabled in the Rear Orchestra (the seats’ arms can be lowered for ease of access).

Box Seats

Box Seats (private seating in theater boxes) are held by major contributors. See Patrons
Box seating may be available for certain events if box holders have relinquished their priority use.

Reserved Seat pricing

Reserved seating may be offered in a range of price categories, depending on the show:

Gold Circle
All Gold Circle seats are priced the same, regardless of your age or student status.

Considered the best seats in the house, Gold Circle seats are located in:
- the center of the Orchestra section
- the first row of the Rear Orchestra section
- the first row of the balcony

Regular - applies to all other seats (except Box Seats).
Regular seating is usually offered in these price categories:

Adult - non-students up to age 59
Seniors - (age 60 and over)
Youth - (age 15 and under)
Student - (with student ID) - for students over 15 years of age
Mercyhurst Student - currently enrolled students at the college
PC (Presidents Card) - for designated Mercyhurst officials and employees
